: Hello again Donna,
: Well....I must say I really am not totally sure of good ones
: on the how's and why's of baking. However, "Desserts to Die For"
: by Marcel Desaulniers is amazing! One of my favorite cook books,
: The Beginning of the book has a section called "Notes from the
: Kitchen" that would be beneficial to the novice baker, w/ info
: about butter, chocolates, baking powder and sodas...and a few
: other misc. items. The reciepes are well written w/ great
: description and discussion of the dessert...check it out! :)

Hi. Joe,
Once again thank you for the info... I have seen Marcel do some great things with chocolate..Thank goodness for the Food network.. It has introduced a lot of bakers and chefs to the public.

I will put this book on my list...If there are any others that come to mind please let me know..
Donna
