Recently, a friend of mine had taken $100.00
as a depost for catering services. A few items, not
very expensive, had been purchased, when the client
called and postponed the event without scheduling a new
date. The full $100.00 was returned.
What should have my friend done in this type of situation?
Should she have written contracts in the future?
Also, should the full $100.00 be returned? Or deduct
the food purchases from the $100.00?
