leftover foods or "do you have some foil?"

one of the most frustration things i face is the tacky
people who ask us for foil or a container to take
some of the leftover foods home with them.... the worse
was a wedding last month.

i normally prepare a tray for the new couple to take with
them..... after presenting the tray, we were cleaning up
and the guests were asking for foil, plastic wrap, etc

the problem is the constant interruptions and the guests
getting in the way.. one guest broke a crystal basket
while trying to pour fruit salad into a stryo container
they got somewhere... i said "sir, i will be happy to sell
you a quart or gallon of fruit salad, please allow us
to pack it".... he said, "this is our food, we paid for
it", i said "sir, we served the number of ppl we were
contracted, this food and the food in the cooler is our
back up, let me see if the host would like to purchase
more food for you to take home"

i simply went to the brides mother and said, "were you
pleased with our reception?, well, we served 150 guests,
as you guaranteed, but i have enough food for 200, now
many of your guests and family are taking and requesting
leftovers. if you would like for me to release my back
up food, i will let you have it for an additonal 500.00
, i will even deliver it, if not, i need you to notify
your family and friends that you dont wish to pay for
any more foods. she told her family to PLEASE LEAVE

another way i am handling this is to say "sorry, my
insurance does not allow for leftovers to be taken"
"do you have a cooler or refrigerator in your car?"

any of you have such war stories to post?
