I too have an english degree as well as a masters in secondary ed. (you'd never know it from my typing skills). I went to amu culinary school in gavle sweden and worked my way through college at various restaurants. I enjoy teaching at the high school level although i must admit you must be a salesperson as well as a teacher and chef. When you teach kids at the high school level you have to be prepared to help students with so mush more than what the proffession recquires. I particularly enjoy my job because i have a lot of autonomy when it comes to curriculum decisions.
