Small, independent restaurants

My waiter keeps telling me about a place he went to in Chattanooga, TN. It was in a woman's home (he thinks!) atop a mountain or maybe just a hill. The cuisine was French. The woman owned a bakery in town. He said the meal was fabulous, just five tables or so and the owner was very nice. She made a napoleon for his wife when she mentioned that was her favorite pastry. Will try to post more information if I get it.
