Dear Sharon,

When I lived in Italy, I craved curious things American,
many of which can't be shipped because of spoilage. i.e.,
lobster, sweet corn on the cob, hard and soft shell crab,
etc. Everything they have that is fresh is superlative but
there were some things that drove me to the Old England Store
in Firenze like...
Canned Pumpkin (punpkin pie), Whole berry cranberry sauce,
creamed corn, popcorn, barbeque gourmet potato chips, Doctor Pepper
corn bread mix (like Jiffy), A-1 Sauce, Heinz Ketchup, snickers
bars, Fritos, dip, Rice Krispies, Cheerios, pistacios, macadamia
nuts,(they have peanuts) and a bunch of other not-too-gourmet
stuff...
OES is and English outfit but I guess they've gotten into the American stuff
brcause of us crazy american artists who prowl Italy's grandeur.

New Mexican stuff I'd crave: canned green chile, mild enchilada sauce,
corn and flour tortillas, Chipotle hot sauce (any brand),
Adobo Criollo Seasoning (Bohio or Goya),

Sorry to be so wordy but Good luck!

Alex Brooks
