I only mentioned it because that is the way it should be traditionally served and it seems as if the original poster of this thread is not all that informed on some of culinary and customary areas of the event they are contemplating. And yes by the way, I have done weddings in Miami where giving away 250 silver cups was not even a matter of passing concern so there are clients who expect and do such things.
