: : Grilled Whole Beef Tenderloin, Carved
: : Grilled Fish (havent decided which)
: : Grilled Lime/Pepper Chicken
: : Grilled Vegetables (eggplant, Zucchini, Portabella mushrooms, red peppers, asparagus
: : sweet potatoes) any basting ideas?????
: : Curried Fruit
: : Burgoo stew (need a gameless recipe)
: : Derby Pie
: : Mint Julep (we make a mean one)

: : Cheers
: : Carl

: Carl,

: Chef, the meal sounds like a backstretch winner. Try red snapper for the whole fish.
: Question, do you serve your Mint Julep in a Silver Cup as tradition demands? Honey-bourbon or maple-bourbon sweet potato Baste?
For formal parties (formal small parties) Juleps are served in the traditional silver cup. I personally had to break from tradition given that I usually have well over 100 guests. You may want to consider Kentucky Hot Browns as a food item but it is a hassle unless you are having it catered.
