Gilligan's Rest. is very nice, but try Cappy's-on the water on the way into Charleston. In Charleston hit Jestine's Kitchen (cheap, for southern fare, otherwise, the Charleston Place Hotel or Restaurant Million for expensive evening. The Charleston Crab Co. is on the Intracoastal (also on the way to Charleston) if you have a car-We like the Privateer next door at Seabrook Island, go upstairs to eat (it's cheaper and you get a great sunset.)
: Folly Beach is great for surfing, etc, but it's a drive.
