I've seen it both ways, men and women are equally adept at being the jerk.
Worked for a couple of lesbians on Plum Island who shoulda been in cages.
As a foreigner I see a lot of things in the past 30 yrs that I'll never understand.
A lot of American men strike me as feminine and theres plenty of unfeminine ,indelicate females.
The trick is learning how to cope, not trying to force behaviour changes.
My personal opinion is ., clearly a lot of fathers have fallen down in their responsibility to teach sons manners.
. ..and fathers should spend time forming relationships with daughters, I never saw this problem growing up in England but its bad here in the US.
