Hi Sharon,

I don't have much substantive info, except to say that
never in my life have I tasted better ice cream than
homemade, with the freshest of ingredients, including
seeds from the vanilla bean.

When I had an ice cream maker, it was always the hit of
any party--except some of the kids thought it was too much
work, so the adults had to do the churning.

Wonder why it tastes so much better? I think it is because
the ingredients are so fresh. Given the choice, I would
always do homemade if time permits. Just my opinion...
