All ACF members should be aware that ACFEI no longer accepts asso. activity points as a criteria for certification. Is anyone aware that this policy has seriously eroded asso. interest and participation?
A member of the Pittsburgh chapter, I am very concerned and would like to see the policy recinded or amended to reestablish recognition of professional ethics.
This is a complicated issue which has met with heated debate at chapter metings. National leadership is interested but slow moving on the issue. Resolutions to be heard at the Nat'l convention must be filed by january.
Join me in motivating someone, anyone, to change policy which disassociates culinary brothers and sisters.
