I've finally decided to leave my unfufilling career in computers for the Culinary Arts. However, I'm in no position to relocate to NY or San Francisco. Can anyone give me any insight on the local programs (i.e. Pasadena or Santa Monica)? Also, can anyone advise me on how to go about getting work experience before school, I would even consider volunteer work assisting someone in the kitchen.
