You're missing the point of many of the posting on this forum.

The first step is to actually see if she likes commercial baking.

Have her get a job doing anything in a commercial bakeshop.

GPA's have NOTHING to do with anything outside of the academic world.

What you daughter has seen on TV has NOTHING to do with the real world of being a Pastry Chef.

And BTW the major schools do have minimum standards-
You have to be able to afford the tuition.

Jeez, I wish folks would READ before posting here.
