Your right, the term is Chef is so loosely used....even within the industry. In my eyes, there is only one chef in any kitchen and that is the executive. I get called chef and I hate it. People are trying to show some sort of respect which I can appreciate...but if you do not know me, call me sir and if you do know me then quite simply call me 'Pierre'...that's respect!
