: Hi! I'm trying to decide on favors for my wedding, but I'm not too sure what to make. My wedding is late October and the reception is at 4pm. At first I was thinking of just making chocolate mold candy and then I thought, why not make chocolate truffles instead (can I make them now and freeze them)? Their elegant and rich looking--perfect for a wedding. And then yesterday I was looking through a Martha Stewart wedding book and saw a really nice recipe for chocolate heart shaped cookies, one side dipped in vanilla frosting. The only thing I'm leary about, if I did go with this idea is that the recipe called for fresh ground black pepper and a pinch of cayanne spice. How would that taste?
: I guess what I'm really asking is, what is the best thing to make when you're on a budget but want to have something nice for your guests?? Oh, and something that doesn't take up alot of time. So many ideas, so little time...
: Sorry this is so long, and thank you for your ideas!
