Maybe they've been making crap all along and you just noticed.
After 30 yrs in bakeries I am thoroughly convinced crap is the way to go, I KNOW I'm wasting my time putting out french pastry to an ignorant customer base, one day I might wake up and bake garbage instead.?
Cheesecake? supermkt crap. Personally I just buy sara lee and have done with it, wouldn't waste oven space on it.
Somehow I suspect you're in NJ, lots of crappy bakeries.
