I've been thinking about catering for a while, I am starting a casual job with a large local catering firm in a couple of weeks to see if it's really for me. I come from a telco/training background, self employed, but catering/cooking has been a desire of mine since I was 16, I'm now 27 and believe it's now or never.
What keeps you going in catering? Is is the cooking, meeting people, being self employed? Why did you start in the catering business? Your answers may help me understand my need for it as well. TIA, Kylie, Australia.
