I have been working for a few large catering companies for the past few years. I'm looking to get more jobs for myself, however, clients have been hard to come by. I have had a few personal jobs, gave out some cards, had great feedback from the client and guests but nothing. I'm wondering if I should do a few freebies or seriously underbid, but I don't want to set the precedent that I'm cheap. I do fairly upscale food, and luckily I can cut costs because my employer lets me borrow just about anything I need.
