That sounds like a good idea Jack. Does this work well for you?
How much explaining do you do? If you said 500.00 for my party of 12 and I said "how did you arrive at that price for my party?" how would you respond? Or better yet, "wow that sounds too high!" how do you explain???

: I feel that "per person" pricing for groups less than 35 is often perceived as a poor value. The average peson's experience in value perception tends to be based on restaurant pricing. "I can go out to the best restaurant in town for that much money!"

: I have found that a flat dollar quote such as $150 - $200 inclusive" tends to have less "sticker shock" than " $30 - $40 per person" and will quickly separate the men from the boys (no gender inferrence intended, esp. since 90% of catering buyers are female)

: Exposure is very important, but you must be exposed to the right buyers! Don't get the reputation of providing $20 catering for $10!
