Hi,
Another option would be to do an Apricot glaze for the ham prior to cooking (with real Apricots ) and also serve with Honey Mustard the two work well with each other as the Glaze mellows in the cooking process. Add a dash of dijon to the Honey Mustard and a pinch of Cloves to the Glaze. Another nice accompaniment you might consider would be Onion-Dill Dinner Rolls.
Good Luck! : : I need some creative advice on how I should decorate a ham on a buffet table. The ham will be sliced and accompanied with petite rolls. What condiments do you think would be nice to serve with the ham. I would love some new ideas other than mustard and mayo.

: : Anyone's advice would be great! This wedding reception is in 1 week.

: : Thank you!

: Here are a few ideas.

: Serve a champagne mustard or garnish the ham with either a kahlua pecan sauce or a mango chutney. You can serve both in a bowl next to the rolls for a fun taste.

: And for goodness sake, please use a great ham. They dont cost that much more (per person) and make a huge difference. Use a bone in spiral slice or if you have to go boneless, use a Cure 81 or equivalent. NO BUFFET HAMS!!!

: Good luck!

: Carl
