Although my clients are very happy with my menus, I would like to learn about the newest food trends in LA and NY to offer my clients and keep ahead of the rest. I am in Tampa, Florida and currently subscribe to Special Events magazine, which always has interesting ideas and will be attending The Special Event in New Orleans in Jan, but I don't want to wait. I would love to come up with the best ideas before the holiday season hits. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.
Patti, the absolute best culinary magazines are Chef Trends and the National Culinary Review (last one put out by the American Culinary Federation)...... and a great place to gain new food trends & info is the Nat'l ACF Convention in Nashville (this year), go over to www.acfchefs.org for info & get a subscription to both magazines...
