Ok, guys. I am taking your advice and I have found two caterers, and I need help on which one to choose. Because of the location, we are going to have heavy hors d'oeuvers instead of a sit down dinner. This place that we have found will also let us bring in our own alcohol (we are just having beer and wine), which will end up saving us lots of money.
So, what should I look for when picking a caterer? One of my choices, he charges $14.95 per person for the food plus about 25% tax and gratuity, while the other one charges per platter of food and tacks on only about a 19% tax and gratuity charge. Which one will save me money, and if I choose the second one, what should my estimates be as far as how many appetizers per person?
