Making Brie Encroute the Correct Way

I'm having trouble making Brie with Melba sauce in Puff Pastry. I prepared the brie with melba sauce in the middle of the brie. Then I enclosed the brie with the puff pastry and egg wasted it to seal the seams. I then put it into oven. Should I have the oven set at a high level so the outside browns. I think that the oven wasn't high enough and the brie began to melt. your help is needed.
