Recently attended FoodTec97, held 11/3,4,5/97 at the PA
Cnvtn Ctr. in Phila., PA (my hometown). Although most
software represented at the show was geared toward POS
restaurant packages, I did come across a few that
peaked my interest and I have listed a sampling of those
below. Does anyone have any personal experience with
any of these packages? Or could someone suggest an
alternate?
I am looking for :
a) ONE fully integrated package that tracks customer data,
billing info., menu info., and event details while
handling menu costing, recipe analysis, inventory,
production lists (for kitchen), staff scheduling,
packing lists, etc.
OR
b) TWO or MORE packages that can be interfaced with
one another to achieve the same results.
*Product must be Windows95, Windows98, or NT compatible.
*Prefer ODBC-compliant 32 bit application
*Must be able to be networked to be used simultaneously
by as many as 10 users.
*Software must have a strong current user base
Any suggestions and information you can offer would
be appreciated.
