Finish your schooling.
Save your money.
Find a friend, relative who would back you. (I didn't use this option because I wanted the success to be mine and if I failed I would have never heard the end of it.)
Do some catering for friends, family, neighbours, doctor etc. (get licenced first!!!)
Put enough money away to support the business for the first year.
Last but not least, take a business management course.

: I'm a Culinary Arts student at Massasoit Community College. How would someone go about opening their own business. If you know of someone who has and what has or hasn't worked for them (dealing with products or wholesalers). I would appreaciate any information that you could give me.
