Send your recipes to the copyright office, but help them live in
your customers' minds by letting your (former) restaurant pass
them along, unless you are moving close by in town. Then, take
them with you. I've deserted a few restaurants (or, at least
certain menu items) because they still advertise "such and such"
recipe, with no clue. (Greek salad dressing is not tziziki, for
example, just because tzisiki is a Greek thing for pita bread.)
