for the best and most expensive company for pasrty tools check out:
www.matinox.com in france.
very expensive ,but sometimes worth it.when i had my shop i had a $15,000 crate shipped with their stuff .alot of fun to work with all their toys. e mail them for the up to date catalog.very creative tools.(but very very expensive).they are the company who came up with all of the combs/grills/silkscreens ideas back in the 80`s for joconde sheets.plus a lot of stensils and gadgets for chocolate work, including a bran new worm air brush for delecate painting and art work with chocolate!

You can find the same equipment but cheaper from PAVONI, they are distributed by KEREKES, SWISS CHALET...

at this time ,only kerekes carries pavoni stuff.
swiss chalet has dicontinued the pavoni line and now carry a new italian manufacturer.in any case, you will get similar products, but different grill designs.the cheapest of all is creative culinary tools in florida.

You're right tj, Swiss Chalet now has Martelatto which is as good as Pavoni.
Italians have pretty good equipment and much cheaper than the french.

yes,all those makers of screens/grills/combs make the same stuff.no reason to pay more then what its worth.
as for italian equipment ,i always liked carpigiani`s ice cream maker and pastocrema machine and the whipped cream machine better than french made ,similar machines.but they where not cheaper...

What a coincidence.....the owner of creative culinary tools is Todd Johnson and tj is really pushing the fact that we should buy from them. Come on tj....confess! Are you not the owner of creative culinary tools!

no! what`s the matter with you?
i just bought from the guy before, and quite frankly, i dont think you will find silk screens cheeper then what he sells.i did not like his aluminum frames. i bought mine from jbprince from plastic for $22 a piece and they do fine job.
creative tools also made for me some custom silk screen work with my own design for a lot less than you can get for just set up.his biscuit spread tool is ok, although i preffer a frame myself.his chocolate holder/warmer is inexpensive and efficiant.his molds i foung at a local craft store ,exactly the same kind he sells, they make them for plasyer casting and molding.his frame moldings from silicone are made out of standard carved wood wich is quite a clever idea ,i made some myself...
