I think it is quite a challenge to those of us who love what we do, but can't afford to go to the top schools to learn how. Patience and practice are the most valuable parts of learning this stuff, but a few tips and pointers would help. Has anyone had any training in artistic composition and would this be valuable to me? In particular any information on abstract art, since this seems to be the trend in competitions nowadays. It also seems a degree in architecture is required just so you can figure out how to make the thing without it falling over or flying apart. Also, transporting showpieces frays my nerves and gives me palpitations in a bad way. Any advice or pointers?
