: Actually theres quite a few supply houses on
: canal st NYC,I stumbled across a listing on one
: of the pastry sites,I think it was pastry world.
: Lamalle kitchenware has an online store but I think its
: still under construction but pastry world lists all phone numbers.
: Pro tools can be quite expensive too, but they do work instead of the
: gadgets most home cooks get sold. My vote for worst gadget ever is
: garlic presses, they mash and squeeze all the oil out so you end
: up with flavorless mush.
: They take 3 times longer to clean than doing by hand.!

I received a powdered sugar mill this year. It grinds (!) confectioner's sugar like a peppermill. (Where exactly are people storing their confectioner's sugar that it requires a mill to grind it?)

My vote for the best kitchen gadget ever? I have a tie for my two favorite tools. One is a French knife. The other is the cordless phone. How about you?
