I can appreciate the humor, but feeding hysteria is not a
really good thing to do.
Contaminated food kills. Ignorance can add to the killing.
You are constantly bombarded by "radioactivity" as a course of
living in the material universe. Microwaves, photons, neutrino
bursts, and (oh!) gamma rays are constantly bumping into you
and flowing through you. There are many radioactive rays that
leave no trace, ie neutrinos pass completely through the earth
as if it weren't there. Radiation merely means something is
emanating from a body (such as heat from yours). Please don't
misinterpret the facts and put more people at risk just for a
joke. Unless we are willing to not only stop population growth
but cut it, we are going to have to come up with ever better
methods of feeding our population. Luddites can live in a cave,
just don't bother the rest of us.
