: I realize that this message is going to sound pretty stupid.
: However, I do know that we all have to start somewhere.

: Currently I am a computer specialist. Due to carpel tunnel
: and other health problems I can not continue that profession
: for much longer. I am also a chocolate hobbyist. I am hopeing
: to turn my love for chocolate into a new career. I would like
: to open a chocolate specialty store in the Southern California
: area. I would be greatful for any advice or comments from fellow
: chocolatiers.

: Also, I have come to the conclusion that since I do not
: have professional chocolate making experience I will need
: someone who does. Can anyone tell me what kind of wages
: would an experienced chocolatier expect, and where
: can I find this type of person? I am sure this would be a
: great opportunity for the right person because, I would
: want this person to have free reign creatively.
: Meaning, I am not afraid to try new products and ideas.

: Thanks in advance for any help you may offer.

Hi Susan,

I feel like you took the words out of my mouth. I really dream of starting this business. I've done some chocolates at home for friends and I want to make it my business. Did you get any advice? could you share with me?

Thanks, Bella
(the internet works! Thanks to everyone who takes time and makes it so wonderful).
