: I will be in Kiawah on 6/20/98 - 6/27/98 for my honeymoon. I'm looking for any suggestions you could provide regarding must see or do's related to Kiawah and nearby Charleston. Specifically, restaurants, jet skiiing, parasailing, etc. I would like more info on. I would appreciate anything you could provide.

Hi Neal,

Kiawah is gorgeous.

When we were down there we just did the beach and pool thing and I played golf.

If your renting a cottage hit the IGA on the way in and stock up. There is no shopping on the island itself except for a ripoff general store.

Bring beach chairs and bikes if you have them you can rent em but they are expernsive. (or I just might be cheep ;<) )

All the island restaurnts are OK but IMHO over priced (even by NY standards). If you hae a place where you can't cook you will have to travel to get to reasonable restaurants. I recieved an E-Mail about a place called Gilligans but never went.

Definately go tho Charleston (a full hour from Kiawah) ask a local (or a waitstaffer on the Island) for current restaurant suggestions.

Have a great Time!

Geroge
