My name is Becka and I'm a senior in high school. I've been thinking about becoming a chef my whole life but all people tell me is about long hours (50+ a week) and how it takes years to get anywhere. But what I'm interested in is either becoming a Pastry Chef or a Baker, do they also have such long hours? Could anyone tell me what a career like that would be like? Is there any web sites that would be helpful?
