I started baking 12 yrs before you were born, still work 7 days a week because its my nature, not because I love it.
People who work for the weekend look bored to me.Poeple with easy jobs like gvmnt workers always seem unfulfilled when they come in the store, it seems like they dreamed of making good money for doing little , with full benefits but hate what they do.
In a nutshell they appear to be spiritually empty, following their worthless values which have no reward except money. Money will never make you happy, but good work does feed the soul, sounds corny but its true.
Look at the people who tell you about the hours you'll be working, who are they fooling besides themselves.?
It can be difficult to see peoples BS at your age, peer pressure is a powerful influence. As you grow older you begin to realise other peoples opinions of the life choices you make are worth exactly what you pay for them (Nothing)...and you stop asking others to make lifes choices for you.
Problem is, by the time you realise it will be getting late to start learning. Cooking and baking are trades best learned young, jump right in, you'll soon find out if its right or not.
