Good for you, Rob. Everybody needs something to which they can aspire. But here's a secret -- when you're doing something that you really love, you'll be totally caught up in it, too busy even to notice where you stand with your peers. (Well, almost too busy!) And I believe that's when you're most likely to earn and deserve the title of "chef" -- when your attention is totally on what you're doing, whatever you're doing, and not on what other people might be saying about you.
