Steve, its not that I dislike doing the cakes , its the crap that goes with it, running a pastry shop you deal directly with idiot future mother in laws etc, the cakes themselves are fun to do.

Have you ever seen the french book by Franciolo ? , quite an old book (40-60yrs) but some good examples of the art.
Maybe we should upload pictures of pastry somehow, I'm gonna get a scanner to see if it works.
